University names, seals, and grading terminology are referenced solely to describe the formulas those institutions publish, under fair use for descriptive and educational purposes.

Accuracy of calculators and content

We make a genuine effort to source every formula from official, primary documentation — university circulars, regulatory notifications, or published grading policies — and to flag clearly where a figure is instead based on a secondary source or a commonly-used approximation. Even so:

• Grading systems, formulas, and classification thresholds change over time and can vary by faculty, programme, syllabus year, or individual institution regulation.
• Some classification rules (for example, conditions attached to a distinction grade) depend on details a calculator cannot verify, such as whether a grade was achieved on a first attempt.
• Results from our tools are estimates and should always be cross-checked against your official grade card, transcript, or your institution’s examination department before being used for any formal purpose.
